LA HISTORIA DE CAFE CON LECHE

Cafe Con Leche is an award winning event production company + digital platform based out of Pittsburgh, PA. We highlight authentic Latino culture through art + food. It was founded by Most Wanted Resident Artist, Tara Sherry-Torres, in January of 2014 out of a desire to create neighborhood based spaces for Latinos to connect in Pittsburgh. The concept of Cafe Con Leche is based on her love for Puerto Rican roots, a craving for good Spanish food in Pittsburgh and a desire to bring people together to break bread while enjoying music, art and dance. In May 2015 Cafe Con Leche was the winner of the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group's Community Development Award.

Cafe Con Leche has hosted over 25 pop-up events in five Pittsburgh neighborhoods, collaborating with a cross section of businesses, nonprofit, community groups and artists. Our events have been featured in the Post-Gazette SEEN Column, The Tribune Review, NEXT Pittsburgh, The City Paper, Pop City, La Jornadada Latina and The AP Collection.  To see pictures and videos of past Cafe Con Leche events check out our Galeria

Leveraging lessons from our own success, we provide consulting services to businesses and nonprofits who would like to increase their brand profile in the Latino market. Our expertise is in experiential marketing, event production and digital media.
